Cookie Policy

Last updated: February 11, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Just Enough Solutions ApS ("we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you use SaaS Template (the "Service"). This policy complies with the Danish Cookie Order (Bekendtgørelse nr. 1148 af 9. december 2011), the ePrivacy Directive, and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and improve your browsing experience. A cookie's lifetime is calculated from your last visit to the website. When the cookie expires, it is automatically deleted.

Legal Basis

We use cookies based on two legal grounds:

  • Essential cookies: Deployed under the "strictly necessary" exception in the ePrivacy Directive, as they are required for the Service to function. No consent is required.
  • Analytics cookies (if enabled): Deployed only after obtaining your explicit consent, in accordance with GDPR Article 6(1)(a).

Cookies We Use

These cookies are necessary for the Service to function properly and cannot be disabled. Under Danish and EU law, essential cookies do not require consent.

Analytics Cookies (Optional)

When you accept analytics cookies through our cookie banner, we activate additional monitoring services to improve the Service quality and fix errors:

Services activated with consent:

  • Sentry (Client-Side Error Monitoring) - Captures JavaScript errors and user interactions leading to errors to help us fix bugs faster

Important: While Sentry does not use cookies, it processes data about your browser, interactions, and error context, which requires your consent under GDPR. Server-side error monitoring always runs (without tracking individual users) as it's essential for Service stability.

Your Cookie Choices

Cookie Banner

When you first visit the Service, you will see a cookie consent banner where you can:

  • Accept All: Enable all cookies including analytics (if available)
  • Reject All: Use only essential cookies

Your choice is stored in the cookie_consent cookie for 1 year.

Changing Your Preferences

You can change your cookie preferences at any time:

  1. Visit the Cookie Settings in the footer
  2. Adjust your preferences
  3. Your new preference is saved immediately

Browser Settings

You can also control cookies through your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies
  • Firefox: Options > Privacy & Security > Cookies
  • Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Cookies
  • Edge: Settings > Privacy, Search, and Services > Cookies

Note: Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in and using the Service.

Third-Party Services

Clerk (Authentication)

Clerk provides our authentication system and sets essential cookies required for you to log in and use the Service securely. These cookies cannot be disabled as they are strictly necessary for the Service to function.

Sentry (Error Monitoring)

We use Sentry for error tracking and performance monitoring to maintain Service stability:

Server-Side Monitoring (Always Active):

  • Runs without your consent (essential for Service stability)
  • Monitors backend errors and server performance
  • Does not track individual users or use cookies
  • No personal data is collected

Client-Side Monitoring (Requires Consent):

  • Only activates when you accept analytics cookies

  • Captures JavaScript errors, user interactions, and browser information

  • Does not use cookies but processes error context that may include personal data

  • Helps us identify and fix bugs affecting your experience

  • Sentry Privacy Policy

Data Processing

For essential cookies:

  • Data is processed to provide the Service (authentication, session management)
  • Processing is necessary for the performance of our contract with you
  • Legal basis: Legitimate interest and contractual necessity (GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and (f))

For analytics cookies (when consent is given):

  • Usage data is collected to improve the Service
  • Data is aggregated where possible
  • No personal data is shared with advertisers
  • Legal basis: Your explicit consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a))

Cookie Consent Per Device

Cookie preferences are stored per device and browser using the cookie_consent cookie. If you use multiple devices or browsers, you will need to set your preferences on each one. Your preferences are not linked to your user account.

Your Rights

Under GDPR and Danish data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Withdraw consent at any time by changing your cookie preferences
  • Access information about what data we process
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet)

For more information about your data protection rights, please see our Privacy Policy.
